Trevena is nestled in the beautiful valley of Rosedale. With fantastic views from every window, from watching the sunrise over the hills to the setting of the sun. Yorkshire is a treasure trove of things to see and do for every taste. Attractions, wondrous walks, countless bays, coves and fishing villages scattered along a magnificent coastline.
The lane down to Craven Garth Farm once contained a number of buildings which in their heyday, had a bustling community with a Rosedale way of life, now long past. Sadly the buildings fell into disuse and were demolished. On the site of a small holding, Trevor and Malcolm Dent built the present house, using some materials from the original buildings, and naming it “TrevEna” after Trevor and Ena Dent.
It was designed to catch the sunshine all day, and coupled with its outlook, presents a most pleasant place to stay.
TrevEna Holiday House Rosedale - Self Catering has its own garden and separate parking facilities. Sleeping eight people, the master bedroom has a zip & link queen size bed (making 2 two 3ft beds if required) two double bedrooms, one of these is equipped with a pentagonal shower cubicle and a washbasin, and one twin bedroom. There is also a seperate bathroom with toilet.
This property is heated by oil and an open fire effect fireplace.
The ground floor has a spacious lounge. It has a solid oak separate kitchen, with integrated refrigerator, microwave, electric oven and halogen hob and plenty of work surface. A utility room provides a dishwasher, washing machine and freezer and tumble dryer. The dining room has reclaimed pine table and chairs and has the evening sunlight, a downstairs washbasin and toilet at the end of the hall, for easy access.
